GENERAL TAGGING INFO:

Consignor #: Please make sure that your consignor number is correct on every tag.  You may find you consignor number on the sign up page or on your confirmation email you received when you registered.

Donate (optional):  If you want to donate your unsold items at the end of the sale, choose the donate option. Any items not picked up during consignor pick up times will be donated. ( click her for consignor pick up times and information)

Price: You set your own price on all items. Price to sell! Generally items sell for 1/3 of the original price, depending on name brand and condition. Better brand names, unique items, or high price items usually bring more. Ask yourself "What would I pay for this item? Please use $.50 price increments only (ie; $6.00 or $6.50 rather than $6.99). An average price for shirts is $3-$7 and an average price for shorts/pants is $4-$8.

Half Price (optional): If you decide to NOT to let your item go for half price, it will print a red star on the tag.  This tells the customer that the item will remain Full Price
throughout the sale. Please be selective on the items that you star, since items with no stars tend to sell better on the discount days. If you are donating your items at the end of the sale, please do not choose for your item to remain full price.

Tagging and hanging instructions:

Safety pins: Please use 1" or larger safety pins: no straight pins or small gold ones

Tag Gun: Many consignors have discovered the simplicity of the tag gun. It affords efficiency, better tag security and seems to speed the tagging process immensely.  An 80TGK-2 is a good model found at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. for about $20.00.

Tag Location: Attach card with a safety pin to the upper right (when looking at it) pocket area of the shirt or upper right front of pants; you can punch a hole at the top of the tag to make it easier to slide the safety pin through. *If you use a tag gun please insert the gun in a tag/label or inside seam NOT through part of the clothing (to avoid making a hole or tear in the clothing). Also, pull on the tag to make sure it is properly secured and will not come off easily. Please make sure consignor tags are pulled out of the clothing so they are easily visible to the customers.

Tagging Toys and Baby Equipment: Fasten tags securely to your items with clear mailing tape; do not use scotch tape. You can also punch a hole in the top of your tag and attach the tag securely with ribbon or string. Zip ties are great and useful for attaching tags and multiple items together (can be purchased at local hardware and discount stores).

Tagging toys and equipment with multiple items: For items with multiples pieces, put a tag on each piece. Fill out the first tag with all of the necessary information as normal but include "1 of X", (X is the number of pieces). On all of the other tags, write your consignor number, the description, and "2 of X", etc. Put the price on the first tag ONLY, please do not put the price on any other tags. Only use multiple tags for items that belong together. Please do not do this for clothing items.

Tape inside the collar (optional): If you would like to make an effort to ensure that an item will sell if the tag is lost we suggest putting a piece of masking tape, with your consignor #, on the inside collar or waistband of your clothing item. We can not sell items that are missing tags.

Hanging Instructions: To prevent items from falling off the hangers, please use appropriate sized hangers. Child size hangers for the infant sized clothing and adult size hangers for toddler size up. All garments should be hung with the hanger hook pointing left (hanger should resemble a question mark when looking at the front of item). Safety pin clothing sets securely with pants hung on the backside of the shirt, so both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them. Safety pin through BOTH pieces AND through the hanger (this will prevent pants from weighing down the shirt and causing a possible tear). Please safety pin pants to the top part of the hanger so the garment will not slide.

Hangers: Please use wire or plastic hangers.  If you are having trouble finding hangers ask co-workers, neighbors and friends for their dry cleaning hangers. Remember to safety pin pants to the top part of the hanger so the garment will not slide.

Sort: Please have your clothes sorted by size and gender. This will make drop off easier and faster for you.
